Please help this Emaciated dog on this property at 1018 E 18th street!!! Multiple concerned citizens have called to report this and nothing has been done. Antioch Animal Services sent an ACO to check on it, but just offered dog food to the people that are squatting on the property. There are multiple dogs on the property. ACO reported that most dogs arenot licensed and I’m sure none of them are vaccinated. This is an animal welfare issue, and there are big concerns on this property regarding the people that are squatting in this home. Records show that this home is managed by a property management firm. MGR property management. A call has been made to the property management company reporting that there are people on this property that have no permission to be there and are causing issues with the health and welfare of the animals that are in their possession. Regardless of whether the city does not have enough staff to help with emaciated and malnourished animals, with only one ACO to serve the whole entire city of Antioch is unacceptable. This situation is an urgent matter. It takes priority, and this dog should be removed from these neglectful people. We will continue to fight for these animals on the streets of Antioch until we get the medical care that they deserve. Code Enforcement has been notified about this address and there should be some type of intervention and investigation as to why these people are allowed to live on this property. All agencies should do better and not turn a blind eye because we will get public records to find out what was or wasn’t done in this situation. Thank you
