Child injured by hazardous debris at abandoned property My 10-year-old son stepped on a nail in the yard of this apparently abandoned property at 4828 Gordon St. The nail went through his shoe and punctured his foot. Because of the injury, we had to take him for medical treatment, where he received a tetanus shot and antibiotics. We are concerned that there may be additional nails or other sharp/hazardous debris in the yard that could seriously injure another child or person. Please inspect the property and remove the hazardous debris or take whatever action is necessary to make the property safe. We would appreciate this being addressed promptly to prevent another injury.
