#22485881
OakDOT placed a large adhesive 72-hour notice on my vehicle’s window. The notice cannot reasonably be removed and substantially obstructs my visibility. I have been ordered to move the vehicle, but California Vehicle Code §26708 prohibits driving with material affixed to a window that obstructs the driver’s clear view. I am requesting that OakDOT remove the notice it placed on my vehicle, or provide me with a safe method of removal, before the 72-hour deadline. Please document that I am attempting to comply and give me the service-request number. Furthermore, the is NO signage anywhere visible stating that I am illegally parked. Therefore, I request this adhesive sticker be removed from my property and this complaint by OakDOT to be logged as invalid and no additional action taken against me or my property.
