A motorist appears to have struck and damaged the signage on the median on the Oakland side of the bridge, likely while traveling from Alameda toward Oakland. The damaged sign is currently lying down in the direction of Alameda. The Bridge Tender bent the sign back toward the median and moved it out of the roadway to prevent it from obstructing the traffic lane. Please see the attached pictures for reference.
