Ongoing open drug sales, drug use, blocked sidewalks, and illegal dumping near BATS school. At 1448 23rd Ave., individuals regularly sell and use drugs while blocking the public sidewalk. Multiple reports have been submitted to the city, yet no meaningful action has been taken. At 2253 E. 15th St., residents regularly observe suspected drug sales and prostitution-related activity, including during school dismissal hours. Residents also report that 1448 23rd Ave. and 2263 E. 15th St. are connected in the ongoing drug sales and request that both locations be investigated together. At 2247 E. 15th St., illegal dumping continues, reportedly originating from 2253 E. 15th St. These ongoing conditions put students, families, elderly residents, and other community members at risk. We are requesting immediate investigation, cleanup, enforcement, and a coordinated response from the appropriate city departments. Previous reports have not resolved these issues, and the community deserves meaningful action.
