This is such a dangerous intersection. Cars SPEED off the highway and barely roll to a stop. At any given moment there is: traffic going both ways on Buell, cars speeding off the exit and not really stopping, cars coming the other way on Calaveras and the side street off Calevaras at a slant that are trying to make a right angle turn across traffic. I walk my daughter to school and IT IS SO DANGEROUS. You need to do so many things to fix this in order for kids and families to feel safe walking, let alone driving. I am suggesting ALL OF THE ABOVE: better pedestrian safety crossing (add lights and those posts, speed bumps, school area safety - kids walk to multiple schools from this point, bicyclist safety, perhaps add a flashign light for cars coming off the highway and a speed camera) Also change the traffic pattern so cards can't make a 90 rt angle turn from the slanted street off Calaveras). You can se in the picture the intersection I'm talking about. No one is safe at this intersection. No pedestrians, motorists, bicyclists).
