There is a serious problem happening on this corner, and it is absolutely unacceptable. There are people openly using drugs, gathering in such large numbers that the street becomes blocked off, making it difficult and frightening for families to even walk through the area. I CANNOT EVEN WALK THROUGH THIS CORNER WITH MY OWN CHILDREN WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT THEIR SAFETY. No parent should have to worry about their kids being exposed to people actively using drugs just to walk down their own neighborhood street. And at night? It gets even worse. The number of people gathering there makes the street feel unsafe and practically inaccessible. What are families supposed to do? Walk into the middle of this situation and hope nothing happens? This is not just an inconvenience. THIS IS A PUBLIC SAFETY CONCERN. Families, children, and residents deserve to feel safe in their own neighborhood. We should not have to avoid our own streets because of what is happening on the corner. Where is the action? Where is the accountability? How long are residents expected to put up with this before someone takes this situation seriously? OUR CHILDREN DESERVE BETTER. OUR NEIGHBORHOOD DESERVES BETTER. AND WE DESERVE TO FEEL SAFE WALKING DOWN OUR OWN STREETS. It is time for the people responsible for addressing this issue to step up and do something before this situation gets even worse. We should not have to wait for someone to get hurt before action is taken.
