This is a view from my window. I just witnessed a U-Haul driving across the wide open terrain directly next to the Phoenix Apartments (couldn’t grab a photo in time). I did not see it dump anything but it seems extremely likely that is what it was there for; this terrain is very quickly becoming a hotspot for dumping scattered throughout: construction debris, a mattress, other furniture; an entire flatbed trailer has been abandoned there for at least two weeks. It is insane that all this space has not been properly secured with impenetrable fencing to prevent this from becoming the next Wood Street Commons. I’ve left multiple messages unanswered messages with our council person and I can promise you we will be doing everything in our power to vote out Fife in the next election.
