Subject: Encampment, Accumulated Debris and Public Safety Concerns at 9th Street and Pine Street I would like to report a large encampment near the intersection of 9th Street and Pine Street in West Oakland. As shown in the attached photos, there are multiple RVs, vehicles, makeshift structures, and significant amounts of accumulated debris, including discarded furniture, mattresses, appliances, and other bulky items. The area appears to be increasingly cluttered, raising concerns about sanitation, fire hazards, illegal dumping, and overall public safety. I am requesting that the City of Oakland inspect this location, assess the conditions, coordinate appropriate outreach services, and take the necessary steps to address the encampment and remove accumulated debris. Please provide a service request number and an update regarding the City’s planned response. Thank you.
