I am writing to report a longstanding maintenance issue at Orange Memorial Park. One of the playground slides has been blocked off and unavailable for more than six months. I regularly visit this playground, and it is disappointing that such a heavily used public facility has remained partially closed for so long without an apparent resolution. I would appreciate an update on the following: 1. Why has the slide remained closed for more than six months? 2. Has a repair or replacement already been scheduled? 3. What is the expected date for reopening the slide? 4. If a replacement project is planned, can the slide be repaired in the meantime? Please assign this request to the appropriate Parks Maintenance staff and provide an estimated timeline for resolution. Thank you for your attention to this issue. I look forward to seeing this playground fully operational again for the children and families who use it. Photos: To be attached showing the blocked-off slide.
