During our most recent visit to Orange Memorial Park, we noticed that the playground lights were not turned on after dark, leaving the playground extremely dark. There are existing light fixtures in the area, but for some reason they were not illuminated. This creates a safety concern for children and families using the playground, particularly during the fall and winter months when it gets dark earlier. Could the Parks Maintenance team please investigate whether the lights are functioning properly and whether their timers or operating schedules need to be adjusted? We would appreciate having the playground lights turned on during permitted evening park hours so families can safely enjoy the playground.
