This intersection has had multiple "band aid" pothole repairs every rainy season for 20 years. The intersection is on a slope, and water drains under the asphalt (as seen by the "alligatoring" in the road surface.) Each pothole patch creates a new place for water to seep under the surface and create new potholes. Patches, while appreciated in the short-term, are one-season band-aids. Resurfacing and sealing the entire affected area will save money in the long-term. Perhaps move this request from "maintenance" to "improvements" in the budget.
Resubmitting opens a fresh form pre-filled with this ticket's location and category. The city dispatches the new report independently.
