I read that the city council was meeting about properly budgeting for median maintenance. This is the perfect example. The very nice redo of Fairgrounds Drive from Gateway Drive to Six Flags is covered in litter in all directions on the sidewalks, shoulders, street gutters and bike lanes. This particular area should have regular litter pick up scheduled because of Six Flags and the larger number of pedestrians and in support of what is a community attraction. Being greeted by filthy streets is not a great impression of Vallejo for visitors visiting the amusement park.
