Description

Dear Antioch POP Team and Code Enforcement, I am writing to formally request a public nuisance investigation concerning the single-family property located at 3518 Markley Creek Drive, Antioch, CA 94509 (APN: 076-470-019). This property has been the source of recurring neighborhood disturbances involving excessively loud music and gatherings that generate noise extending well beyond the property lines and into the surrounding neighborhood. These disturbances have repeatedly disrupted residents’ peace and quiet, including during late-night and early-morning hours. The Antioch Police Department has been dispatched to this location on multiple occasions in response to these disturbances. Below is a log of recent incidents reported to police dispatch: October 18, 2026, approximately 8:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.: Excessively loud music continued throughout the night. Residents at the property were reportedly uncooperative. October 25, 2026, approximately 11:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.: Another late-night disturbance involving excessively loud music. These repeated incidents raise serious concerns regarding a potential violation of Antioch Municipal Code Section 5-1.201 and the city's public nuisance enforcement provisions. Given the recurring nature of these disturbances and the repeated need for police response, I respectfully request that the Antioch POP Team and Code Enforcement investigate this property, review the associated police dispatch records, and take appropriate enforcement action. Specifically, I request that the city issue a formal nuisance warning letter to the property owner of record, if warranted, and consider any applicable administrative citations or other enforcement measures if the violations continue. I also ask that the property be monitored for ongoing violations, as appropriate under the city's enforcement procedures. The neighborhood deserves to enjoy a reasonable level of peace, quiet, and safety without repeated late-night disturbances. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and request confirmation that this complaint has been received and referred to the appropriate department for investigation. Thank you for your time and assistance in addressing this ongoing neighborhood concern. Sincerely, Bob
