Dear Mayor Bernal and Members of the Antioch City Council, I am writing to formally escalate an ongoing and serious noise disturbance caused by our neighbors at 3518 Markley Creek Drive, Antioch, California. I have contacted the Antioch Police Department to request assistance, but I am now asking for the direct attention of the Mayor and City Council because these disturbances have become an almost daily occurrence and are significantly affecting my family's quality of life. The ongoing disturbances include: Loud music continuing until 3:00 a.m. and sometimes as late as 5:00 a.m. Excessively loud singing late at night. Breaking beer bottles. Playing cornhole and making excessive noise late into the night, morning hours. We have video evidence documenting these disturbances and can provide it to the appropriate authorities. My family has reached its breaking point. We leave for work at 4:00am, and we have a newborn at home who needs a quiet environment to sleep. The repeated late-night noise is severely disrupting our sleep, affecting our ability to function at work, and interfering with our ability to care for our child. We have tried to be patient, but the frequency and duration of these disturbances have made the situation increasingly difficult to tolerate. We should not have to endure noise until the early morning hours on an almost daily basis while trying to work, raise a newborn, and maintain a normal home life. I respectfully request that the Mayor and City Council intervene to ensure this matter receives appropriate attention and follow-through.
