Recurring flooding and standing water are blocking the sidewalk and curb area after last Thursday’s rain. There is no visible drainage at this location, and the water has now remained for five days. This occurs whenever it rains, including after relatively light rainfall, and becomes significantly worse during heavier storms. The standing water extends towards the driveway on Van Buren and interferes with pedestrian access along Sevier Ave. Requesting correction of the drainage issue. Water should not remain pooled across the sidewalk and curb for days after a minor rain event.
