Illegal Food Vendor Blocking Bus Stop and Pedestrian Access I would like to report an illegal food vendor operating at the AC Transit #54 bus stop located at 35th Avenue and School Street. This vendor has been selling here for months. The vendor is set up in a manner that obstructs the bus stop and interferes with pedestrian access near the crosswalk, creating a safety hazard for transit riders and pedestrians. This has been an ongoing issue at this location, and neighboring businesses and community members have previously reported similar violations. I have attached photographs showing the vendor's setup. As you can see, they block the area off with a SUV (sometimes a pick up truck) to set up shop. They are usually setting up around 6:00am or before 6:15am. This has been previously reported as an Construction Issue - Sidewalk Blocked and all they have done was move their vending tent about 6 feet away from the bus stop but they are still blocking the walkway.
