This exact area was just cleared a few months ago. It was clean for just around two months before it looked like this again. There’s a school just down the street. Kids can’t use the sidewalk at all and many walk to and from school on this street. They’re forced to go into the busy traffic street to cross this area which is highly unsafe. As I was stopped here while the r train passed, I noticed several concerns. An open can of beer, they were smoking under the tent, and the other guy was trying to start a fire. This is all happening during school release time when kids are actively walking past this area. Their trash is also pouring onto the sidewalk across the street. It’s only a matter of time before that’s blocked off too.
