I am filing a formal complaint regarding the business Braids By Us, located at 2672 Fruitvale Ave, Oakland, CA 94601. This business has allegedly been hosting frequent after-hours parties and gatherings that have become an ongoing disturbance to the surrounding neighborhood. Multiple complaints have reportedly been made, yet the problem continues without any apparent resolution. The disturbances include excessively loud music, frequent fights, littering, and concerns about firearms being present. People are reportedly gathering and partying outside the business at all hours, creating an ongoing disruption for nearby residents and raising serious concerns about neighborhood safety. It is unclear what activities are taking place inside the business after normal operating hours. However, the repeated gatherings and disturbances outside the establishment are affecting the surrounding community and making it difficult for neighbors to enjoy peace and safety in their own homes. I am requesting that the City of Oakland investigate this location, review previous complaints, and take appropriate enforcement action to address these recurring disturbances. Residents should not have to continue dealing with excessive noise, fights, litter, and potential threats to their safety on a regular basis.
