Traffic cones are being used to block curbside street parking on the north side of 67th Street, just west of San Pablo Avenue, alongside the UCSF–John Muir Health Berkeley Outpatient Center. The affected section is an ordinary, unpainted curb that has historically been used for shared public street parking. I was told that this section is reserved for hospital parking and that my vehicle would be towed if I parked there. Please inspect this location and verify whether any current city permit or other official authorization allows the facility or its parking operator to reserve this exact section of public curb. If the cones are unauthorized, please arrange their removal and follow up with the operator to prevent continued obstruction of public parking.
