Description

the pond in Montclair Park is so thick with toxic algae that the poor geese don't even leave trails in the water anymore! endless complaints have been made about the condition of the pond, the overgrowth of reeds, the trash in the water and all over the bottom of the lake, The disappearance of all the turtles and probably fish because of the lack of sunlight in the water and depletion of oxygen, it must just be a killing field under the thick coat of green algae. but for months and months the parks department has decided to do absolutely zero to address any of the problems. rather than continuing the slaughter of innocent life I think the entire park should be sold to a developer and then turned into a five-story condo development. at least the area will go to good use what's currently described as a park it's just a horrible embarrassment.
