To: City of Oakland – Parking Enforcement / OAK 311 I would like to formally report ongoing illegal reservation of public street parking spaces using garbage bins, orange traffic cones, and other objects\. **Locations to investigate:** 1. 2686 68th Avenue, Oakland, CA 2. 2692 68th Avenue, Oakland, CA Residents or occupants at these locations appear to be placing objects in public street parking spaces to prevent other people from parking there\. According to the City of Oakland’s parking guidelines, placing cones or other objects in public parking spaces to reserve them is not permitted and is considered illegal dumping\. I respectfully request that the City investigate both locations, remove unauthorized obstructions where appropriate, and take enforcement action\. Public streets and parking spaces should be accessible to everyone\. No individual should be allowed to claim public parking spaces for private use\. Some of the other houses are now putting cones as well. Sweeper can’t even do it jobs. 2686 68th avenue oakland. Paint red in the curb so people can’t park.
