There's a major construction project happening on the street and sidewalk along the Lakeshore and Lake Merritt. It has created significant traffic on Lakeshore Ave and invites several cars to park on top of the in-progress construction during weekends. It's a major disruption for residents and a minor safety concern as well. We would like information about what this project is, how long is it expected to run, and how it is intended to improve conditions in the neighborhood, if at all. As residents, we have no information about the purpose, duration, or intended outcomes of this project.
