Persistent rooster crowing — Outer Richmond, near 666 35th Avenue A rooster kept in a residential backyard approximately two houses away from my home crows repeatedly throughout the day, approximately from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. The crowing is frequent, prolonged, and loud enough to be clearly audible inside my home through insulated walls with the windows closed. This is a recurring disturbance that substantially interferes with the peaceful enjoyment of my home. The noise persists for much of the day rather than being an occasional crow. I am requesting that the appropriate city department investigate this recurring animal-noise complaint, determine whether the noise violates applicable San Francisco noise requirements, and advise what corrective action can be taken. Please refer this complaint to the appropriate noise-enforcement personnel if this category is not handled by your department. The general location is near 666 35th Avenue in the Outer Richmond. I can provide recordings and a log of the noise if needed.
Accepted. Noise informational reports are closed and summarized for department use.
