Good afternoon, Hope this email finds you well. I'm writing on behalf of WildCare, as the owners of 647 Lindaro Street, to report a problem with the drain pipe on the city side of the creek next to our property. The Passive backflow protection is badly rusted and nonfunctioning at the creek's end of the storm drain system, and we believe its condition is contributing to flooding on Mariposa court and into our lot. During high tide, water backs up through the storm drain and comes up out of the catch basins. We're concerned that the flooding will get worse this winter and could damage the property as well as flood neighboring properties. We'd appreciate it if someone from Public Works could inspect the pipe and the Passive backflow protection and let us know whether it can be repaired or replaced, and on what timeline. I'm happy to meet staff on site and can have sent photos of the pipe and the flooding. We also want to thank you for all your help and support with our new facility project. Thank you for your time. Best,
