Description
For the past two weeks, neighbors near 1027 hayes st have been dealing with loud and persistent construction-related noise starting at around 7:00 a.m. most mornings. the noise includes heavy banging, power tools, machinery, and frequent loud yelling/hollering from the crew. i have measured noise levels at over 80 db from nearby residences. i understand that 7:00 a.m. may technically be within allowed construction hours, and i am not asking for permitted construction work to stop. however, the early morning noise has been extremely disruptive because the homes are very close together, and the noise carries directly into neighboring bedrooms and work spaces. the loud non-work-related yelling, hollering, and shouting between crew members feels unnecessary and has made the situation much harder to tolerate. this has significantly affected nearby residents¿ sleep, ability to focus while working from home, and general quality of life. -cont.
