Description
The main building intercom system is completely broken and inoperable. the proximity reader for resident key fobs works to unlock the door, but the actual digital call box keypad, resident directory, and the remote buzzer system linking the front door to individual apartments are completely dead.as a result, residents cannot identify visitors, communicate with guests, or buzz in delivery drivers, mail carriers, or emergency services from their apartments.the intercom system has been broken since at least july 27, 2026. management issued a written notice to all residents on july 27, 2026, acknowledging the broken system, but has provided zero updates and taken no action to repair it since that date, exceeding a reasonable timeframe for building maintenance.
