#23129850
This intersection needs to be re-evaluated by the city. Cars turning from Elm St onto Miller take up the majority of the width of Elm St, preventing cars from turning from Miller onto Elm St. This gives cars on Elm St the de facto right of way due to space constraint, which goes against everyone’s expectations. This in turn causes congestion on both Elm St and Miller while drivers have to make choices under confusing and low visibility circumstances. The nearby schools and preschools add young kids and strollers into the confusion and danger. Either Elm St should be made a one way street (i.e. only cars coming from Miller may turn onto Elm, not the other way around), or there should be no parking allowed on Elm, thus widening the road to allow two-way traffic.
Resubmitting opens a fresh form pre-filled with this ticket's location and category. The city dispatches the new report independently.
