#23069580
On 10/18/2026, a tree on the City's Lake Dalwigk Park fell onto our property at 924 Lemon Street damaging our fence, pressure wash canopy and shop building. It also damaged our neighbor's fence at 536 Sheridan Street. All of your trees which back up to our property appear to be in poor condition and in severe need of maintenance or removal. It is definitely a pressing issue with the expectation of El Nino rains beginning soon. Had the tree fallen into the park, someone could have been killed. We need the downed tree removed and an arborist to evaluate the remaining trees to see if they can be salvaged or determine if removal is necessary. We also seek compensation for the damage to our property. It doesn't appear to be extensive, but we should not have to bear the costs incurred by the City's poorly maintained tree.
