Description

On Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at about 7:10 AM, a Waymo autonomous vehicle drove past a stopped school bus near 230 Judah Street in San Francisco. The Waymo was headed westbound on Judah. The school bus (bus #211) was stopped to pick up students, with its lights flashing. My son was getting on the bus at that moment. Instead of staying stopped until the lights turned off, the Waymo never stopped and drove around the bus and continued westbound. I did not get the license plate or car number. The time, location, direction, and bus number should be enough to find the vehicle in Waymo’s logs and in any stop-arm camera footage from bus #211. I am requesting that this incident be investigated and that I be told what happened and what corrective action will be taken.
