On October 28, 2026, at approximately 2:05 p.m., contractors associated with work at 48 Sycamore Street were observed drilling into the public sidewalk to install a fixed wooden parking-sign post. I was previously told by a City representative that Street Space permit SSP-26-05482 applies only to the area directly in front of 48 Sycamore. Please route this to San Francisco Public Works, Street Use and Mapping—Inspection and Enforcement, and inspect whether the sidewalk drilling, fixed signpost, and exact location are authorized and fall within the permit’s approved 25-foot segment. The map selected 42 Sycamore, but the observed location is at/near 48 Sycamore Street.
